Though these dlls are very useful, i find that mIRC does crash easily whilst trying to opperate under the SSL conditions. Do you think this could be a problem due to the DLLs or due to just mIRC rejecting the dlls or something. It happens quite reguarly when i use the SSL connection, not just once in a while.

It's because of mIRC, the current implementation is incredibly buggy, and nearly unusable until version 6.18 is released.

Yea that is what i was thinking as well. But anyways mate, great job :D

I always found http://www.shininglightpro.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html to be nice and up-to-date, comes with an installer aswell.

Same here; I'm using 'Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8a' at the moment.

That is what I used to get these DLLs: they're part of the package, but that installer also installs a lot of crap you don't need if you only want to use it for SSL in mIRC. I will try to keep this submission synchronized with the latest version found on that site.

If you uninstall the package, everything but the two dll's are removed.

That's still more effort than this zip, if you're lazy like me.

There are all kinds of rules and legislations involved with these files, and I tried to play by the rules, so I included all the licenses, conditions and terms (I think) in the readme.txt file. Give me a call if I forgot anything. Oh, and also please take note that I did not create any of the software included in this pack.
