Description:
An addon that provides some simple but useful features.

Submitted Review Author's Updates
Review:
After loading the addon, mIRC was restarted and the script initialised. You are able to set servers to automatically connect to, and channels to join, per network. Once connected, some of the features available are colouring IRCops and away users, clone scanning, and a “spy” feature, which basically opens a window and echoes all activity by the user there.

Whilst this won’t win any awards for originality, some might find it useful.

In your ABOUT dialog, why direct users to a url where they copy/paste into their browser to download?

Wouldn't it be better to have a update button that downloads it via sockets? :)
Just an idea ;)

Thanks for this. Works a treat. This is about the only script i still use and have just downloaded the new version :P. I do think you should document all the features though. I am still finding most of them, like double clicking the network list on the dialog connects you to them :D

Hi, just updated to the newest version. I must say the details in this script is amazing and is the best auto identify i have come across. I wonder why you stopped expanding it? btw just found the secret menus and its really nifty and brightens my irc day with the quotes.

truly Awesome... thx

Everyone is suprised with the coloring of the nicklist, no one ever look into the "cline" feature?

The script is just what i was looking for and i think the bug send dialog is absolutely FABULOUS. Thank-You <3

This is a refreshing script and sorts all my identify stuff & autojoin out in a nice neat little dialog and i like the away users being greyed out, but MDX is the way dialogs are made now, and yours is lacking the MDX. That said it does a ok job.

SidFeb 1, 2008 10:15AM
first, DCX is "the way dialogs are done" now, MDX was "the way" 3+ years ago.

and you're rejecting the GUI just because he didn't use a DLL to make useless and pointless controls on the dialog to make it flashy? this is the downfall of the IRC user, man.

fean0rFeb 1, 2008 2:09PM
I agree, Ive never used DLL's as I enjoyed the challenge of coding just using mIRC!

I like this script because it does not have a useless mp3player or telnet console, ugly themes or whatever the fad is nowadays, it actually focuses on the users needs on IRC and does the job pretty well. it takes up one script file and is not in the way. It does its bit silently and has some really good dialogs. I do feel it could be a little better with mdx though. all in all i usually do not use outside scripts but i am giving this one a try, :-o well done author

Rating:     10Good Job mate, i have never seen such user friendly dialogs before and love the coloring of the away users and Irc-Operators. I had been looking for ages for a script that did that for me This does it all for me with chanserv.
i just hope you will allow for dalnet users who use q ;-)

Rating:     10I like this script, it has alot of features and is easy to use, i only have some issues
it makes my ping go from 0.48 to about 12 sec

it gives me some annoying message in the top saying that my lag is over 1 million seconds.. thats quiet impossible
but i can just turn that off so that was no biggi, it probably breaks cause my ping climes to 12 whit the script

oh yeah and it disables lag/rambar "mircscripts.org/comments.php?cid=3310"

Else its a nice script

NonchaukJan 8, 2008 2:40AM
Mine works fine, its probably the two lag scripts conflicting with each other, but at least you could switch it off

Rating:     10Thank You for not Hijacking my quit message, Thank-You for not Hijacking my CTCP replies, Thank-You or not Hijacking my mIRC theme, Thank You for no mysterious errors in my status window, Thank You for possibly the most useful script i have found. This is one script i will not be unloading after 10 minutes of use.

Rating:     10Finally a script that does not change my client with user imposed settings and themes, and has useful features. Thank-You

Rating:     10I love this snippet, i have always wanted my client to color away users. I also noticed the oper screen for opers which is really useful. Keep up the good work
