I agree with mukem. MDX or DCX would be a good thing to look into. Ill give it a 5 because I see Tchaikovsky.

You might want to start liking MDX or DCX.
A larger variety of controls will make your dialogs easier to use and more visually appealing.

respect on having the guts to submit this, knowing you will get so many flames.
as far as the dialog:
I think the playlist should be bigger, imagine having 1000 songs in your playlist, it will take ages to scroll through it and find the one you're looking for.
song information list below the playlist could be replaced with texts/edits, takes less space, makes the dialog more visually pleasing.
you can also replace your volume adjustment, and add seeking, with scrollbars.
get rid of the "On", "+" and "-" buttons, if you plan to release this.
instead, make a separate small dialog for specifying how/where do you want to announce what you're playing.
having a button which says "on", or just + and -, is confusing to the first-time user.
now, you don't have to use MDX for this, all the options for improvement I suggested, do not require MDX or DCX.
and one last thing, there is a pretty good tutorial on designing dialogs, somewhere around this website, I suggest you read it to get a better understanding of what dialogs are, what is their purpose.

of course he is, he made this mp3 player, there's a code behind it, therefore it counts as something.
the problem is that we now have DLLs like DCX, which people use to create amazingly fancy GUI.
so anyone who doesn't follow up on it, is considered a lame idiot who can't script.

ok then here's my great advice
instead of text like play and stop on those buttons, you could use the wingdings font, it has characters that you'll recognize as stop/play etc
why can't i read the whole titlebar?
that background... what a waste it makes this stuff look even uglier, learn to crop it out plz

also.. NOONE GIVES A FUCK about "simple mp3 info" and if you really wanna add a dot to that, do it immediately after that text and not after another space.
now i aint great in maths just like you, but any fucking fool sees theres something wrong with a 3mins 32s long song still playing for over 6 minutes. and other than this info not at all being interesting, it also takes away valuable space for the playlist or directory list, whatever it is
what the fuck is "Channel Message Is On", great adds for auto spamming which has your name in it 4 times? get rid of crap like that
and why is every word in all your sentences fucking capitalized?
generally, i summarise this rant as "suxks" with an appropriate rating next to it
it makes no difference in the end
